As Project Coordinator at the Center, Susan's work is focused in several areas. She is the research coordinator for a collaborative endeavor between Brown University and The Progeria Research Foundation to create a medical and research database for Hutchinson-Gilford Progeria Syndrome, a rare genetic and fatal disease in children, and she is also the Cell and Tissue Bank Coordinator for the Foundation. Ms. Campbell works on an NIA funded project examining the impact of Federal regulatory changes on rural hospitals and their long term care strategies, and has recently assumed the role of data coordinator in the Center's development of an Alzheimer's Disease Clinical Database. Susan received a Masters degree in Experimental Psychology from San Francisco State University in 1993 and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Rhode Island. Her prior work at the center has involved several breast cancer studies funded by the National Cancer Institute.
