Ms. Kydd, Assistant Director of Administration for the Center for Gerontology and Health Care Research provides direction and oversight to all administrative, operational, and financial activities of the Center. Her responsibilities include financial management of approximately 40 accounts totaling over $5M annually, human resource management of approximately 40 faculty and staff, supervision of the administrative core, management of space related issues, and coordination of all activities related to the preparation of over 30 external grants and contracts conducted by several Center Principal Investigators..

Ms. Kydd is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island. She has been an employee of Brown University since March 1990. During her years at Brown, she has had the opportunity to work with many departments and individuals throughout the University. This has enabled Ms. Kydd to develop relations with several key offices such as; OSP, faculty personnel, the Controllers, program officials at federal and non-federal agencies, Institutional Officers at the University level, thus allowing her to serve as the key conduit of information to Center faculty and staff.
