Cindy Williams received her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Fitchburg State College in Fitchburg, MA. In the four years at the Center as a Research Assistant, Ms. Williams has worked for Dr. Joan M. Teno on various studies encompassing end-of-life care. Her responsibilities have included development, coordination and operational functions of multiple grants along with maintaining Dr. Teno's daily schedule. Ms. Williams provides administrative and research support, which includes managing, monitoring and the coordination of various conference grants, multiple professional service agreements and contracts. Ms. Williams is currently working on the Cancer Assessments and Reports of End-of-Life Treatment (CARE) study. On this project, she has been responsible for the day to day management of patient recruitment, data entry, and monitoring the timing of surveys.
